A nature documentary starring Sir David Attenborough, created for Friends of Richmond Park charity, scooped a trophy at this week’s Charity Film Awards.
Announced at a black-tie gala at Central Hall Westminster, Friends of Richmond Park was amongst the likes of The National Autistic Society, Save The Children, Movember and the British Hedgehog Preservation Society who also won awards.
Celebrating the third sector’s use of video, whether for awareness, changing attitudes and behaviours, or fundraising, the Charity Film Awards winners were picked by a combination of public votes and a panel of expert judges, with more than 60,000 members of the public voting for their favourite charity films.
The awards were hosted by presenter and body confidence campaigner Chessie King.
