Don’t you just love Donald Trump? Who else could decide to become one of the world’s most successful businessmen and succeed, then decide to become President of the USA and succeed. It’s the stuff of dreams and a Hollywood blockbuster in the making.
Love him or loath him, and I can understand both points of view, Trump is a master of personal branding.
Not for him that stereotypical, British understated approach to life. He simply identifies what he wants and goes out and achieves it.
The world is full of people who never fulfil their potential because they are reactive – waiting for the world to come and find them. Not Trump though, he shouts from the tallest building (which he probably built) and he shouts loudest.
My take from Trump’s stunning victory is get off your backside and go and get what you want – be proactive and aim high, very high.
Shame we don’t teach this kind of thing to kids at school.
