An Essex home care company hopes to create up to 50 new jobs over the next couple of years.
SureCare Southend is now able to provide local people with a full range of domiciliary care, live-in care, respite and holiday care, and dementia and Alzheimer’s care after securing its Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration.
Until now, the company, which is based in Tylers House, Tylers Avenue, Southend, had only been able to provide unregulated services such as companionship and cleaning.
SureCare Southend is led by former safeguarding officer Adeola Ogundipe and his business partner and friend Sumaila Salihu, supported by Registered Manager Denice Tricker, who has over 30 years’ experience in the care sector including expertise in business management and regulatory compliance.
Adeola, who lives in Southend, said: “We are excited to now be able to offer a full range of home care services.
“Our focus is on delivering high quality, person-centred care to people living in the Southend community which will enable them to continue living in their own homes for as long as possible.
“We already have a small team who have been delivering the unregulated services, and we are now recruiting care workers to deliver the regulated care packages.
“We expect to create jobs for at least 50 people over the next couple of years as the business grows.
“We want to become known as the go-to provider of home care services and support services in our area.”
Adeola added: “I wanted to set up a home care business after caring for an elderly relative living with dementia, while my wife also has a background working as a care worker. It is something we are hugely passionate about.
“We believe there is high demand for high quality home care services in the Southend area and we are looking forward to growing our business, providing the best possible care to private paying and local authority clients.”
SureCare is one of the UK’s fastest growing care companies with branches and franchises around the UK.
The company is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has three decades of experience in the personal care sector, with franchises across the UK delivering quality care and support for all stages of life’s journey.
