Ellisons announces two key Partner appointments in Essex

Ellisons has strengthened its Private Client and Employment teams in Essex with the appointment of two highly experienced Partners; taking the total number of Partners at the firm to 34.

Ian Johnston joins as a Partner in the Private Client team, bringing over 16 years of expertise in Wills, Trusts, and Probate. Ian specialises in complex tax and succession planning for business owners and farmers, as well as advising on the efficient use of Trusts and estate administration. Recognised in the Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner, Ian is praised for his “very knowledgeable and likeable” approach and his commitment to delivering exceptional client care.

Jonathan Insley joins as a Partner in the Employment team in Chelmsford. With over 15 years of experience in employment law, Jonathan advises businesses and individuals on a range of matters, including bespoke employment documentation, senior exits, redundancies and workplace disputes. Known for his commercially sound and pragmatic advice, Jonathan is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
