Cineworld Basildon, located at Festival Leisure Park, has announced a stellar September marked by impressive achievements across the board.
image003.jpgThe arrival of the highly anticipated Beetlejuice Beetlejuice saw movie fanatics flock to the cinema for a taste of the Halloween season, making it the most popular film of the month. The sequel, directed by Tim Burton, sees the return of the mischievous demon Beetlejuice who sets out to unleash mayhem, complete with an A-list cast providing humour and light scares. Tickets are still available to book on Cineworld’s website.
Movie-goes also enjoyed the spoils the cinema had to offer, with delicious snacks and treats proving incredibly popular to compliment the perfect film experience. The on-site Starbucks brewed over 3,000 cappuccinos in the month of September alone, and has launched their fan-favourite Pumpkin Spice range in time for autumnal and spooky films to hit the big screen.
Additionally the cinema’s tasty Pick ’n’ Mix counter, featuring a huge array of classic treats and more unique choices, saw unprecedented sales, with enough sweets sold to match the weight of fifteen family cars!
As Halloween approaches, Cineworld is gearing up for a thrilling October filled with new and classic horror films. Visitors can look forward to spine-tingling cinematic experiences, with something for everyone on offer. Baskin Robbins are also offering a limited-edition Halloween treat – White Chocolate Ghost Pepper ice cream! Combining sweet and spicy, this unique flavour is the perfect trick-or-treat option for those looking to try something new!
Cineworld at Festival Leisure Park is the perfect spot for an evening out with friends and family, offering 4DX, IMAX and IMAX 3D screenings with comfortable seating and outstanding sound. Visits are perfectly paired with a trip to one of the many food outlets available on site, including Wagamama, Nando’s, Five Guys, Bella Italia and the upcoming arrival of Slim Chickens in November to name a few. Festival Leisure Park also offers free parking.
Matthew Chambers, Centre Manager at Festival Leisure Park, commented “We are thrilled to see the continued success of Cineworld here at Festival Leisure Park.
