Award-winning resin bound surfacing business, Oltco, is excited to announce the official launch of its Braintree franchise, marking a major milestone as the company expands its offering in Essex. This new franchise will be jointly owned and operated by Liam Dorian, who has successfully launched, and continues to run, Oltco locations in Ipswich and Colchester, and Eric Christopherson, an experienced landscaper who joined the Oltco team in 2023.
Since its founding 20 years ago, Oltco has built a reputation as a leading provider of high-quality, sustainable resin solutions. Over the past five years, under the leadership of Liam Dorian, Oltco has become known across Essex and Suffolk for its innovative and eco-friendly resin-bound solutions, including its award-winning Recycle-Bound product. This new franchise ran by Liam and Eric in Braintree will continue this tradition, offering high-quality resin bound solutions for driveways, pool surrounds, balconies, patios, stairs, car parks, and footpaths.
Oltco’s bespoke resin-bound solutions are designed to seamlessly complement a variety of property styles, offering a wide spectrum of colour options to suit both traditional and contemporary tastes. The standout feature of Oltco’s offerings is the Recycle-Bound system—a world-first innovation developed in-house. Recycle-Bound combines stone and aggregates with recycled waste plastics, such as food packaging, bottles, and straws, creating a highly durable and eco-friendly product. Each square metre of Recycle-Bound incorporates the equivalent of 3,000 plastic straws. Since its launch in 2019, Oltco has recycled the equivalent of 500,000 straws, reflecting its commitment to environmental sustainability.
