Tortilla and Uber Eats have teamed up to offer a unique cultural experience this month, aimed at food fans and amateur artists alike. Ever fancied trying your hand at the highbrow hobby of Life Drawing, but fear you’ll need to avert your eyes?

From this week, those ordering from select Tortilla restaurants via the Uber Eats app can add a spicy new side to their basket – the chance to learn life-drawing skills in an intimate session with actor Russell Tovey and gallerist Robert Diament. Their subject? A naked burrito.

Actor Russell Tovey and gallerist Robert Diament host TalkArt, the UK and US’s number 1 podcast dedicated to the world of art featuring exclusive interviews with leading artists, curators and gallerists.

Spare the blushes and settle down as our brave burrito bares all – sizzling carnitas, silky black beans, vibrant guac and dripping in roasted red salsa. Pick up a brush primed with paint (or hot sauce) and give Picasso a run for his money at the one-of-a-kind event, taking place at Old Spitalfields Market on Wednesday 29th May 2024.

Coming together with Uber Eats to supply the sessions with all necessary materials, from paints and pencils to chips and guac, Tortilla is making life better with burritos. Offering a high-quality, affordable and customisable menu of Mexican-inspired food that can now be served fresh to your door with Uber Eats.

Russell Tovey and Robert Diament, hosts of the popular podcast Talk Art, said: “Life drawing classes can feel intimidating, particularly if it’s your first time picking up a brush. That’s why we jumped at the chance to work with Tortilla and Uber Eats to introduce an entirely new audience to the art form. We encourage anyone and everyone to take part, amateur artists and food fans alike. We hope to see you there!”

Andy Naylor, CEO at Tortilla, said: “We’re loving working with Uber Eats to reach more eaters this Spring, amplifying the success we’ve seen since announcing our delivery partnership. Our two brands and menu offering are a match made in ‘burrito’ heaven – with the ability to have fun, while delivering an excellent product across the UK.”
