PRS for Music, a world-leading music collective management organisation (CMO), with over 500 employees has been certified as a Top Employer 2024 by the Top Employer Institute. The certification recognises a company’s dedication to a better world of work which it exhibits through its HR practices. PRS for Music is one of just 2,300 employers across 121 countries to have been recognised.

The Top Employer Institute programme is widely acknowledged as the global authority on recognising excellence in people practices. PRS for Music’s accreditation has been awarded following an evaluation across People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Wellbeing and more.

Andrea Czapary Martin, CEO, PRS for Music, said: “We are honoured to have been recognised as a UK Top Employer. I have always prioritised building a high-performing team and a culture which embraces diversity, intrapreneurship and collaboration. The drive and determination of the whole PRS for Music team make this an extraordinary organisation. One which I am proud to lead.”

Suzanne Hughes, Chief People and Transformation Officer, PRS for Music, said: “We are delighted to have been endorsed as a Top Employer which is testament to the success of our high-performing team and their desire to embrace new challenges and ways of working. The accreditation shows our commitment to building a positive workplace culture where talent can thrive. The insight from the process will help us to continue improving in order to better serve both our employees and members.”

Under CEO Andrea Czapary Martin’s leadership and drive, PRS for Music’s dedication to being a progressive organisation that embraces diversity in all its forms and the value of inclusion, equity and belonging were also recognised. Examples include removing traditional barriers to entry in the recruitment process and internal progression; reverse mentoring programmes and knowledge exchanges; launching an allyship toolkit to empower individuals to speak up for themselves or others; and becoming a Disability Confident Employer.

David Plink, CEO, Top Employers Institute, said: “Exceptional times bring out the best in people and organisations. And we have witnessed this in our Top Employers Certification Programme this year: exceptional performance from the certified Top Employers 2024. These employers have always shown that they care for the development and well-being of their people. By doing so, they collectively enrich the world of work. We are proud to announce and celebrate this year’s group of leading people-oriented employers: the Top Employers 2024.”

PRS for Music operates an open and dynamic approach to working, including the offer of flexible working hours and a hybrid working model. The team also has the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world for up to eight weeks a year.
