The Baytree Shopping Centre have announced that they have raised £211.15 for their One Great Day celebration on Thursday 10th August.
The fundraising day coincided with The Baytree’s Princesses and Pirates Arts and Crafts day, which saw children and their families get creative with crown decorating and shield making outside the centre alongside the popular Baytree Beach.
The beautiful weather made this free day out incredibly popular, with money raised for One Great Day being split between Great Ormond Street Hospital and SNAP Charity, a local charity based in Brentwood for children with additional needs. The charity aims to provide a safe environment for support and specialist services for those requiring support and is a fantastic service for the town of Brentwood.
The money raised will be put towards the running of their Helpline, advice sessions and activities for children and young people.
Maria Kyriacou-Edwards, General Manager of The Baytree Shopping Centre, commented “We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the generosity of our shoppers and event attendees, we have raised £211.15 for One Great Day. Our Princesses and Pirates themed craft day was the perfect way to invite families to our centre as a break from their shopping trip, with free activities for children to get involved with. We can’t wait to see you all for more events coming very soon, but in the meantime we look forward to welcoming you to our centre for all of your shopping needs.”
