This September, Chelsea Dog Day will return in support of charity, Pets As Therapy. Mark your calendars for a ‘pawsome’ day on Saturday, 9 September 2023 when Chelsea is set to celebrate our four-legged friends with a dog-themed market and a host of live doggy entertainment throughout the day and over 55 brands from Colbert, Daniella Draper, Hermès and Hackett, to Peter Jones, The Cadogan Hotel, Bluebird and Trotters participating with in-store activity, menus, hydration stations and enticing treats.
Highlights include ‘pawtrait’ artists and photographers, floral dog collars from Moyses Stevens, Puppuccinos and dog-friendly menus, paw massages from The Organic Pharmacy, a doggy tarot card reader at Beaverbrook Town House and ‘Strutz’ fashion show, taking place at Dovehouse Green and coordinated by modern pet boutique, Love My Human.
Duke of York Square will play host to the ‘Four Legged Foodies’ dog-themed market (from 10am to 4pm), featuring over 20 stalls from some of the most popular doggy brands, including distinguished brand, James & Ella (founded by James Middleton, who is also an ambassador for Pets as Therapy), Bashe showcasing their stylish leather collars and Where’s Winnie’s with their luxury car seats for pets amongst others. And whilst you shop, Chelsea Canines will be offering behaviourist talks, sharing their advice on dog-handling and training, whilst Wagworks, will be hosting a pop-up scent den, designed to boost stimulation in dogs with sights and smells. The expert team from Pets As Therapy will also be on hand to discuss their work, encouraging visitors to enter a raffle with prizes from local businesses. A full list of prizes can be found at kingsroad.co.uk.
As part of the event, a map of dog-friendly Chelsea will be available to ensure visitors know where their dogs will be welcome. For a pawfect day and for further information regarding this event please visit: www.kingsroad.co.uk
