The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has today revealed a one-of-a-kind LEGO replica of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 to celebrate the launch of the resort’s new attraction, LEGO Ferrari Build and Race, opening Saturday 27 May.
Spotted arriving alongside a custom-built LEGO box, the model is made up of 402,836 LEGO bricks and weighs more than 1.5 tonnes. The life-sized Ferrari Daytona SP3, one of the most coveted and celebrated Ferrari vehicles ever created, was developed by the LEGO Group and took a team of designers and builders more than 2000 hours to replicate the high-performance ultra-luxury sports car.
The new LEGO model will be a permanent feature in the garage area of LEGOLAND Windsor’s new interactive attraction, LEGO Ferrari Build and Race. Future builders, drivers, and enthusiasts will get a chance to take pictures and most of all, be inspired by the life-size LEGO vehicle.
The UK’s first LEGO® Ferrari Build and Race interactive attraction features three interactive zones; Build and Race, Ferrari LEGO model, and a DUPLO® build zone. Young racers can make their way through the “garage” to the “racetrack,” to build, test, and digitally scan their own LEGO Ferrari onto the interactive racetrack.
