Christmas Carols on the River Cam

Traditional Punting Company and Let’s Go Punting’s annual Charity event in collaboration with the Choir from St John the Evangelist returns on the 4th of December. This event will raise money for Cambridge Aid.

The event takes place in Cambridge and involves an hour-long chauffeured punting experience along the River Cam with St Johns the Evangelist Choir singing festival carols during the journey. Tickets for this event went on sale over the weekend and are expected to sell out quickly – 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Cambridge Aid to help people in crisis.

Attendees can book a section on a shared chauffeured punt for up to three or six people, or a private chauffeured punt for up to 10 people – guests are welcome to bring any food or drink to enjoy during the festive experience.

Joe Merwiak, Director of Traditional Punting Company, said “We look forward to our Christmas Carols on the River event every year – it is a highlight in Cambridge’s festive calendar, Last year’s event raised £771 for the charity Blue Smile.”

The yearly event looks to raise money for local charities and give back to the community. This year’s charity partner Cambridge Aid offers financial help to individuals and families in need.

Joe continued “We’re so pleased to be working with another great local charity and are looking forward to another hugely successful event which raises money for a great cause.”
