Sarah Kinsley is excited to share details of her first UK live dates.
The New York based musician, whose self-written and self-produced leftfield alternative pop songs have found much acclaim and a huge audience on TikTok, will head to London next month for two introductory shows.
The first will be at Moth Club as part of The Great Escape’s series of shows on the 15th November, before Kinsley headlines The Social on the 16th November.
Over the past fifteen months, Columbia graduate Sarah Kinsley has released two colourful, drama-filled EPs (The King and Cypress) that nod to a host of smart cornerstones before landing on a stone unique to Sarah alone. All the instruments played on these EPs were performed by Sarah, and in production, she joins a talented but surprisingly small pool of self-produced female artists. Her song recording techniques posted up on TikTok lifts the curtain on the very essence of a resourceful bedroom producer. It’s been a very exciting introduction to this smart young musician.
On home soil, Kinsley is only one headline tour old, and with all those dates selling out far in advance, these opening UK shows promise much ahead of anticipated new music due by the end of the year.
