Yesterday we Celebrated World Autism Day with Merlin’s Magic Wand Charity, Born Anxious Clothing and Autism Charity Ambassadors Anna Kennedy online. Autistic children, Autistic Adults and their families had a fantastic experience at Madam Tussards. VIP passes were given to all by Merlin Magic Wand Charity.
Autistic Children and Adults enjoyed their experience on the famous Catwalk and celebrated together on this amazing day.
Both Anna Kennedy OBE Chairperson of AnnaKennedyonline and Kellie Barker founder of Born Anxious clothing line shared it was lovely to see families been given this opportunity and enjoying this experience together .
Anna Kennedy OBE was invited to speak on Talk Radio with Dr David Bull about the work of her charity and shared :
‘Today is the start of Autism Acceptance Month Autism Acceptance is essential if autistic people are to be genuinely and wholly included in society. This means that attitudes which marginalise autistic individuals need to be challenged and opinions changed.
Autistic people are an essential and integral part of society and they must be accepted for who they are.’
