To celebrate Mother’s Day, Uber is partnering with online florist, Bloom & Wild to offer a free beautiful bouquet of flowers to some lucky riders who book one of Uber’s premium products on the day.
Available on Sunday 27th March, those taking a journey with an Uber Lux or Exec vehicle in London may be surprised with one of the florist’s stunning ‘Ellen’ bouquets worth £25, while stocks last. The bouquet boasts 18 elegant stems including alstroemeria, chrysanthemums, solidago, tulips and pitto.
This year, Uber is predicting Brits will go the extra mile to make March 27th extra special, predicting one of their busiest days ever for Uber Lux and Exec bookings, pointing towards a desire to celebrate after the pandemic thwarted previous years. In 2021, premium bookings were up by 16% on Mothers Day, with drivers helping families get to their celebrations.
Jamie Heywood, Uber’s Regional General Manager for Northern and Eastern Europe, said: “Booking an Uber Lux or Exec is a go-to for those looking to mark a special occasion. As the first Mother’s Day lockdown-free in two years we’re thrilled to be offering those taking a premium journey a chance to bag a special bouquet from Bloom & Wild”.
For those unable to get their hands on a free bouquet in an Uber Lux or Exec on Mother’s Day, Uber Eats works with hundreds of florists and supermarkets across the country, bringing you amazing blooms to your door in under 30 mins.
