Posie Parker AKA Kellie-Jay Keen who founded the organisation https://www.standingforwomen.com/new-arrivals and is a warrior for free speech, has come out in support of JK Rowling’s latest Twitter comments on Gay Conversion Therapy.
Kellie says: “J K Rowling is right to raise concerns about gay conversion therapy. Intuitively we know which children are being led down the transition pathway, those children that fall outside the stereotypical norm. We have stopped embracing difference and have chosen to correct it through permanent body alteration.”
She added “These children are not old enough to consent or understand the long term implications of such interventions. The damage is profound. Clinicians at our own NHS Tavistock and Portman report homophobia as a motivator of some parents seeking transition for their children. It’s time we stopped this abuse. “
