Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, has made three promotions within its Chelmsford-based commercial risk team.
Jasmine Ebbs and Justine Abraham have both been promoted to client director, while Justin Forbes has been promoted to a client manager role.
Having started her insurance career at Aon and enrolling onto the company’s apprenticeship scheme, Jasmine moved to another insurance broker before returning to Aon in 2018. She has since continued to develop her experience, culminating in her most recent promotion to client director.
Jasmine Ebbs said:
“Completing an apprenticeship at Aon provided me with a good grounding in the insurance industry and the opportunity to learn, both from studying for my CII exams, as well as from shadowing more senior colleagues.
“The opportunity to return to Aon was too much to ignore. The chance to further develop my career in a large global business that offers a high level of role flexibility and exposure to specialist industry sectors was compelling. I have a detailed development plan with clear goals for the further advancement of my career and I genuinely love the variety that comes with my role.”
Justine Abraham joined Aon 10 years ago after a decade with a smaller, mid-size broker where she had started her career in a graduate role. She has since developed a wide range of sector experience that covers life science, retail, media and manufacturing.
Justine Abraham said:
“I love the varied nature of the role, getting to know and understand clients, their business and their challenges – and being able to demonstrate to them that Aon has solutions that they may not have been aware of.
“Getting involved in more new business, client events and furthering our clients’ understanding of our capabilities, are all areas that I’m enjoying as part of my new role.”
Justin Forbes joined Aon three years ago, having gained experience with several other insurance firms. He has been promoted to client manager.
Justin Forbes said:
“I really enjoy working with clients, getting to know them and their businesses and securing their trust. Throughout my career, I have developed strong technical knowledge, and I am looking forward to utilising that in my new role.
“Having the opportunity to get involved in more strategic and longer-term planning is something that I am particularly excited about.”
