Nominations for the 2025 Harlow Civic Awards are now open!
The Civic Awards recognise and celebrate our community’s best and brightest; from organising or volunteering at clubs, to helping schools or elderly neighbours or providing social networks to reduce isolation and enable people to live independently, we want to hear about the people you think make fantastic contributions and make our community a better place.
So, if you know of an unsung community champion, a person or organisation that goes the extra mile for the town and its residents of Harlow or the town itself, now is the time for you to shout about them and put them forward for the recognition they deserve.
The Civic Awards categories for 2025 are:
Citizen of the Year
Young Citizen of the Year (Up to the age of 18)
Sports and Culture Award
You can nominate from now until 5pm on Friday 5 April 2025 – visit https://selfserve.harlow.gov.uk/service/Award_nomination to nominate.
Following the nomination deadline, a judging panel made up of the Chair and Vice Chair of the Council and two councillors, assisted by the council’s Managing Director, will pick out the winners, who will be invited to attend the awards ceremony at the Annual Council meeting in May.
