Taylor Wimpey is inviting residents in and around Mountnessing to have their say on proposals for a new residential development this month.
The homebuilder is preparing a full detailed planning application for 56 new homes on land off Roman Road. Of these, 50% will be allocated as affordable housing. The new development will also include areas of green space.
A two-week public consultation will launch on Thursday 20th February 2025. People will be able to view the plans and ask questions of the project team during an information session at Mountnessing Village Hall, Roman Road, Mountnessing, CM15 0UG, from 3pm to 6pm on 20th February 2025.
The plans will also be uploaded to www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/new-homes/brentwood/roman-road. People will have until midnight on Thursday 6th March 2025 to provide their feedback ahead of the submission of a reserved matters planning application to Brentwood District Council in March 2025.
David Pelle, Land and Planning Director for Taylor Wimpey London, said: “Gathering the views of the local community is a vital stage in the development process and we are keen to hear what residents living near the site think of our current proposals. We look forward to hearing people’s views.”
The public consultation on Taylor Wimpey’s proposals for Roman Road, Mountnessing will run from 20th February until midnight on 6th March 2025. People can visit www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/new-homes/brentwood/roman-road during that time to view the plans.
