Pringles, the leading gaming snack[2], is set to launch its ‘Retro Console Clinic’ at iconic gaming location Four Quarters, Elephant Park this month. The pop-up will offer free repairs on the nation’s beloved nostalgic gaming consoles from the ‘00s and ‘90s.

Members of the public are invited to dig out their retro consoles and bring them down to the clinic on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th February (12pm-8pm) for a free MOT, courtesy of retro gaming tech experts.
Gaming fans can either book onto a session to get a consultation for their console, or simply drop in for some top-tier retro care advice. Visitors to the Retro Console Clinic will be able to play the classic games on offer at Four Quarters for free.

The pop-up launches as research from Pringles shows Gen Z are loving the resurgence of 90s and 00s trends, with a quarter (24%) of them now owning a retro gaming console.

Rebecca Worthington, Pringles Marketing Lead UKI, said: “Our research shows adult gamers are obsessed with ‘00s and ‘90s tech, and we’re here to help bring those old consoles back to life for all the retro enthusiasts out there. As the ultimate gaming snack, Pringles is excited to bring the gaming community together through this shared passion, and we hope to see as many gamers (and their retro games consoles) as possible at our Retro Console Clinic this February.”
