Publishing to coincide with the awards show in March 2025, British Wildlife Photography Awards 13 showcases over 250 of the winning and shortlisted entries from the 2025 competition, highlighting the vast array of wildlife that calls the UK its home.
Sitting alongside world-class professional photographers including Danny Green, George Benjamin, Martin Stevens, Henley Spiers, Jacob Guy, Ken Miller, Nur Tucker, Andrew Fusek Peters, Drew Buckley, and many more decorated professionals are a host of immensely talented amateur photographers.
Together with the winners and shortlisted photographs from the British Wildlife Photography Awards, this high quality photography book also includes images from the latest RSPB Young British Wildlife Photographer of the Year, highlighting some of the best young talent in nature photography at the moment, some as young as 11.
The winners of each category will be announced at a ceremony on 20 March, followed by a touring exhibition in some brilliant venues throughout 2025, including Nunnington Hall in Yorkshire, Nature in Art Museum and Art Gallery in Gloucestershire and Horniman Museum in London.
The book also features a foreword by Irish actor and activist Evanna Lynch.
She says, ‘Looking at the stunning transient moments captured within the pages of The British Wildlife Photography Awards fills me with a new optimism… or the symbiotic relationship we can have with the natural world if we can take our place amidst it, let it revive our jaded souls and remember our true nature.’
Will Nicholls says, ‘This year, we received an astounding number of entries, each image serving as a powerful testament to the resilience and brilliance of British wildlife. With so many talented photographers participating, this collection represents not only their technical excellence but also their dedication to understanding and capturing the essence of nature.’
Matthew Howard, Publishing Director of Graffeg, adds, ‘We had our first opportunity to publish the British Wildlife Photography Awards in 2023 and were quite simply blown away by the quality of work that this competition attracted. So we’re delighted to once again bring the very best of wildlife photography to a UK audience and showcase the natural world of these fabulous islands.’
