Bellway Essex has released new computer-generated images of the homes which are under construction in the village of Trimley St Martin in Suffolk.
The first new properties were released for sale from a sales cabin at the 139-home Kingsfleet Park development, off High Road, on Saturday 25 January.
Construction is progressing well at the 12.7-acre site where showhomes are due to be finished and opened to visitors later this year.
The build schedule should see the first residents moving into their completed homes at Kingsfleet Park by the end of this year. Work is expected to continue at the development until 2027.
Jenny Walker, Sales Director at Bellway Essex, said: “These computer-generated images illustrate the range of homes at Kingsfleet Park and how the properties have been carefully designed to blend in with the local architecture.
“This is a sustainable site which has features to help residents embrace the natural environment including an orchard of fruit trees and a public open space with seating which incorporates a wildflower grassland. There will be a children’s playground, also including seating and a picnic bench, to ensure it becomes a useful community space where families can be outside and socialise with friends and neighbours.
“The homes will also be highly energy efficient, with electric vehicle charging points and solar PV panels to help residents minimise both their bills and their carbon emissions.”
Kingsfleet Park will feature a variety of homes styles and sizes including 86 two to four-bedroom properties for private sale and seven self-build properties.
The site will also deliver 46 affordable homes ranging from one to four-bedroom designs, comprising 23 properties for affordable rent, 11 shared ownership homes and 12 for sale through the Government’s First Homes initiative.
Bellway Essex is to invest more than £1.3 million in payments to support the area’s infrastructure. The housebuilder has agreed to pay £780,000 towards local infrastructure as part of the planning agreement and an additional £500,000 through the Community Infrastructure Levy. Land is also being provided for a primary school.
Jenny said: “There has been a real buzz about this development ever since we announced our plans to build in this lovely village and the launch day was well-attended. It was exciting to be able to welcome visitors onto the site for the first time and to chat to them face-to-face about the collection of new homes we are delivering here.
“Now that the site is open for business, house-hunters can not only make an appointment with our sales advisors but also check out the location which is proving very attractive. It is right in the heart of the beautiful Suffolk countryside with the family-friendly Felixstowe beach four miles away yet has good transport links for commuters with the A14, which links to Ipswich and the wider region, just minutes away.
There’s currently a choice of two and three-bedroom new homes available to reserve at Kingsfleet Park, with prices starting at £299,995 and £324,995 respectively.
