Premium housebuilder Redrow has made a £500 donation to CFC Shalford Football club to help maintain the pitch over the season. The club is based in Braintree and Redrow Eastern division has made the donation on behalf of the community at its Millview Park development in Bocking.
Located just 4 miles from the Redrow development, the club was formed in 1985 by a group of cricketers from Braintree Cricket Club who wanted to keep fit during the winter – CFC stands for Cricket Football Club. The club progressed from division 4 of the Braintree & North Essex Sunday League to the premier division in successive seasons.
Redrow’s much needed donation will help the improve and maintain the pitch after a hot and busy summer. It will also contribute to website works for the club, helping target new players and take the team to new heights within the local community. Redrow has worked with the club for a number of years, and this donation continues their long-term partnership.
