Following the opening of Vue’s brand-new venue in East Square last week, Basildon Council and Vue spread some cheer for the summer holidays by hosting an exciting Family Fun Day.
The free event allowed visitors to meet and greet characters such as Bluey, Minions and giant dinosaurs, as well as have a go at a McLaren racing simulator, face painting, balloon modelling, a circus skills workshop and the chance to get involved in a community window colouring-in event with local artists.
Families also enjoyed an exclusive free preview screening of Bluey at the Cinema: Family Trip Collection which is made up of eight episodes from the TV show’s three series and is part of Vue’s Big Shorts content. Free screenings of IF which makes up part of Vue’s Mighty Mornings offering, and Spiderman, which is back on the big screen, also took place.
