Residents and the local community celebrated the official opening of Manningtree Park’s natural playground with live music from Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Mary P on Friday 2nd August 2024.
Families living in the new development, built by award-winning developer City & Country, gathered together on picnic rugs to enjoy free pizza from a local Manningtree pizza van, The Mobile Pizza Co, ice cream, as well as play giant lawn games.
Designed with nature and diverse natural play in mind, the playground offers a safe environment for the community’s families to gather and enjoy quality time together.
The entrance to new play park is marked by a bespoke willow arch and guides children through a balance trail, including logs, stepping stones and boulders, and weaving up and down mounds. Adding to the exciting trail, wooden hurdles lead on to a slide and complimentary swing set, ideal for younger children.
