Corin has organised a successful beach clean-up, bringing together staff, friends, and family, along with Deputy Mayor Nigel Folkard and key figures from Leigh Ramblers Football Club, for which Corin is a platinum sponsor. The event, held on a bright day at Chalkwell Beach, was a great way to give back to our treasured seaside community and showcased Corin’s core values of honesty, ambition, and delivery. Armed with bin bags and a passion for community service, the group – including Leigh Ramblers players Jacob Meads and Ethan Nunn, Club Secretary Richard Ackery, Treasurer Gareth Ackery, 1st Team Manager Terry Johnson, and Chalkwell Councillor and Deputy Mayor Nigel Folkard – worked together to clear litter from the beach and promenade, helping keep the area clean and enjoyable for residents and visitors alike. Andy Hurrell, Managing Director of Corin, said: “We are thrilled to see such fantastic community spirit at the beach clean. It’s a great way to give back to the place where we live and work and to bring our values to life by taking direct action to make a positive difference.” The day wasn’t just about tidying up; it was filled with a sense of camaraderie and fun. Locals enjoying the sunny day expressed their thanks, while participants were rewarded with ice creams, cold drinks, games, and music, courtesy of Corin. Corin’s beach clean was more than an environmental initiative; it was a testament to the company’s commitment to community engagement. Events like these are a reminder that Corin is not just a business, but also an active member of the community, dedicated to making a difference. Corin extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and looks forward to more community events that bring people together and make our seaside home even better.
