BRAINTREE VILLAGE ANNOUNCES HAT TRICK OF ESSEX FIRSTS

Braintree Village has announced that three new brands have joined their retail line-up, all of which are brand new to the region. Precision performance sportswear brand, Castore, opened at the Essex-based outlet destination on 27th June, meanwhile menswear specialists, Skopes, opened on Sunday 7th July. These new openings will be swiftly followed by the addition of the world’s number 1 headwear brand, New Era, to the outlet next week.

Castore is in a 1,022 sq ft store next to Hollister, whilst Skopes is situated in a 2,563 sq ft unit between Adidas and The North Face. The New Era store will be between Lindt and Timberland.

Castore’s mission is to create expertly engineered precision sportswear for athletes worldwide. Braintree Village’s Castore store hosts men’s and women’s performance-wear, boasting a range of lightweight, durable sports apparel and footwear, loaded with specialist features.

Established in 1948, Skopes is a British menswear brand with roots in Yorkshire, best known for its tailoring and formalwear. The brand’s first Essex-based store is stocked with suits and accessories, in sizes ranging from 34” to 62”, with an extensive variety of colours, styles and fits.

With over 100 years of heritage, New Era creates headwear that is not only at the heart of authentic American sports but is also a leading lifestyle brand. Worn by legends of sport, culture, and music, the iconic cap is a staple. New Era have been making caps since 1920 for some of sport’s most iconic teams, such as The New York Yankees, LA Dodgers, Kansas City Chiefs, as well as Red Bull, Alpine and McLaren F1 to name a few.

What’s more, the trio of new openings follow Skechers’ recent store upsize. The newly located store is larger than before and has had a fresh refit, plus it now hosts even more leading products from the footwear brand. Additionally, French Connection and Whittard of Chelsea have had complete makeovers, with their new stores ready for summer shoppers at Braintree Village.
