With iced coffee sales set to grow at a caffeine fuelled pace this year, Baileys is stirring up the ultimate summer serve, with a new take on the cult drink and launching the coolest iced coffee collection exclusively at famed London coffee company, Grind.
The iced coffee revolution has been growing over the last few years, with sales up 35% in 2022, (NielsenIQ 52 w/e 1 January 2022) and the obsession has taken over online. Feeds are flooded with users sharing their personalised iced coffee order, their favourite serves at home, or style inspirations with iced coffee set up as the accessory to their summer ‘fit. Iced coffee culture has evolved to become a way of life for Millennials who are driving iced coffee spending across the globe.
This summer, Baileys is creating the ultimate summer serve with the new Baileys iced coffee menu at Grind. The collection combines the luxurious taste of Baileys with the artisanal expertise of Grind creating bespoke serves ready to stir up summer with. The iced coffee menu includes:
Iced Baileys Cream Float Cappuccino – £6.50
Iced Baileys Dirty Chai – £6.50
Baileys Irish Espresso Martini Cocktail – £12.50
You can also add a shot of Baileys to any coffee for £2.50
This collaboration between Baileys and Grind highlights their shared commitment to driving positive change while delivering exceptional quality. Both brands, being certified B Corporations, are dedicated to using business as a force for good and upholding the highest standards of social and environmental performance.
Charlotte Gibbon, Director of Gins, Pimms, Baileys, and Non-alc at Diageo GB, says: “This summer at Baileys, we’re calling on audiences to stir things up with us and embrace the spirit of the season that calls for a few more treats. What better way to do that than to stir up an iconic summer serve, the iced coffee, with a drizzle of Baileys?
“Grind were the perfect partner to stir up iced coffee with Baileys for their refreshing cool approach to coffee culture and BCorp certification, our co-conspirators in the pursuit of pleasure this season. We can’t wait to let you in on what else we have planned for this iced coffee summer with Baileys.”
David Abrahamovitch, Founder & CEO of Grind: “We’re partnering with Baileys to serve up the drink of the summer, which is really exciting for us, not just because it means we get to drink Baileys Irish Cream coffee, but because we’re partnering with an iconic brand and fellow B Corp committed to driving positive change while delivering an incredible product.”
The activity is supporting Baileys global ‘Stir Things Up?’ campaign with UK activity including D/OOH placements across London, paid social media and paid online video activity, as well as creator content collaborations to drive audiences to enjoy Baileys Iced Coffee this summer.
Across August, Grind will also be hosting Baileys Iced Coffee Happy Hours from 4-6pm at select stores.
