Provide Community and Ormiston Families Unite to Strengthen Community Grant Giving Services

Ormiston Families and Provide Community Interest Company have sealed a new strategic partnership which will strengthen services and provide better support than ever to patients and service users.

The partnership will see Ormiston Families, an East of England charity working with children, young people and families, facilitate a national community grant giving programme for Provide Community.

In return, Provide Community will deliver funding through an annual grant to Ormiston Families until 2026-2027 and Mark Heasman, Group Chief Executive, Philip Richards, Group Chief Finance Officer, and Nicola Yarnall, Chair of the Council of Governors from Provide Community have become trustees of Ormiston Families, joining their first meeting in June.

Provide Community, which has its headquarters in Colchester, Essex, offers a range of health and social care services in communities across Essex, East Anglia, Yorkshire and Dorset and is an employee-owned Community Interest Company .

Ormiston Families, which has its headquarters in Ipswich, provides services to people affected by issues such as family imprisonment, mental health issues and bereavement.

It is hoped the first grants will be delivered in the latter half of this year.
