Premium housebuilder Redrow is launching a customer experience suite at its brand new, energy efficient development, Mandeville Crescent, in Saffron Walden, Essex, this weekend.
The event, to celebrate the on-site launch of the development, is taking place from 10am until 5:30pm on Saturday 29th June. It will enable prospective buyers to get an exclusive first look, get a feel for the lifestyles on offer at the brand new community, and take in the picturesque surroundings of where they could be living.
Redrow’s Sales Consultants will be on hand to talk through the homebuying process, plus the features of the Eco Electric collection, including air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, and thicker insulation. Experts will be at the event too, including William Lowden Associates, who can answer any questions homebuyers have around mortgages, and New Homes Group, who can explain how Redrow’s Part Exchange scheme can make the home selling and buying process run more smoothly.
Alongside the informative session, attendees will also be able to enjoy an array of refreshments. Local business Saffron Ice Cream Company will be serving its handcrafted, award winning artisan ice cream, made using local ingredients, whilst specialist tea and coffee supplier The Mobile Coffee Bean will provide hot drinks made to order.
Situated on the western edge of the historic market town of Saffron Walden, Mandeville Crescent is a stylish collection of 60 two to five bedroom homes and bungalows, appealing to a wide range of homebuyers. The first residents are expected to be welcomed from this winter.
Each home is from Redrow’s award winning Hertiage Collection, ideally suited to anyone looking for a modern, spacious home with all the perks of energy efficient living. Whilst the architecture of the homes is inspired by the 20th century Arts and Crafts era, the properties are fit for the future with air source heat pumps, thicker insulation, and underfloor heating across the ground floor.
Energy efficient living in Essex
Mandeville Crescent is one of the first Eco Electric developments launched by Redrow in Essex. Redrow’s Eco Electric homes come with air source heat pumps and underfloor heating to the ground floor as standard. Air source heat pumps are more efficient than gas boilers, as heat pumps capture heat that is already present in the environment and the system itself does not burn any fuel, therefore no carbon dioxide is emitted. The underfloor heating to the ground floor means that the large open plan spaces found in the Heritage Collection homes can be efficiently heated, without the need for radiators.
The event this weekend follows recent research from Redrow which revealed a quarter (24%) of homeowners in the East of England now considering moving to a more energy efficient home to make savings on their bills. The research also showed that nearly two fifths (39%) of people living in the East of England would prefer to move to a new build home due to their energy efficient features.
Jody Bryant, Sales Director at Redrow Eastern, comments: “We’re looking forward to welcoming potential homebuyers to our launch event at Mandeville Crescent this weekend.
“At Redrow, we’re committed to supporting homebuyers to get onto, or take their next step onto, the property ladder. Our event is the perfect opportunity to talk to the experts available about the homebuying process, including our Sales Consultants, New Homes Group or William Lowden Associates.
“If you’re one of the many Essex residents looking to move to an energy efficient home, then we’d recommend joining us at Mandeville Crescent this weekend.”
Michael Lock, Assistant Sales Manager at New Homes Group, adds: “The New Homes Group are the exclusive provider for Part Exchange and Help to Sell Schemes for Redrow Eastern. We are excited to be available for this launch to discuss these processes with prospective customers and to provide advice and insight into the property market.”
Bill Aitken, Director at William Lowden Associates, adds: “There have never been as many choices in the mortgage market as there are right now. Whilst this is great for consumers, the complex mortgage market and number of different lenders can feel daunting. Join us on Saturday at Mandeville Crescent, and we can help you navigate the process of choosing a mortgage, enabling you to secure your dream home.”
Residents of Mandeville Crescent can benefit from the tranquil, scenic location of the development whilst making the most of everything Saffron Walden has to offer. Regularly named one of the best places to live in the region, the town boasts many independent shops and cafes, historic buildings, a bustling high street and food scene, and excellent schools and transport links. From nearby Audley End train station, London Liverpool Street is reachable in just an hour and 20 minutes via regular train services, and Cambridge in just 45 minutes.
Prices start from £605,000 for a three bedroom Stratford Lifestyle home and £875,000 for a five bedroom Hampstead property. The substantial four bedroom Richmond home is available from £950,000, with bungalows available later.
