If you are a charity shop lover, join HARP for the opening of their new charity shop in Hamlet Court Road this weekend (Saturday 25 May) almost a year to the day since HARP’s previous Hamlet Court Road shop caught fire.

The new shop is based in the site of the old Boots store at 179 Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff-on-Sea.

Anna Wallace, Head of Charity Shops at HARP says: “We are so pleased to be reopening a shop in the area and to be part of the strong Hamlet Court Road community once again.

The shop is spacious, light and stocks a wide range of items including clothing, bric-a-brac and small furniture pieces. We’re hopeful it will be popular with new and old customers alike and everything we raise will support HARP’s local services for people experiencing homelessness”.

HARP is always on the lookout for volunteers and donations for their five shops in the area. If you have items you’d like to donate and can’t get to the shops they offer a collection service in the area, visit www.harpsouthend.org.uk for details.
