Festival Leisure Park Basildon has announced the return of their free and extremely popular Heroes and Villains event on Sunday 31st March – Easter Sunday.
image004.jpgVisitors are encouraged to come along to the Park from 11am – 4pm and to meet and take a photo with their favourite characters from television and cinema. There will be a huge range of fan favourites expected on the day, including Marvel and DC Superheroes, iconic Star Wars characters and more*!
There will even be a spectacular line-up of famous character cars on the day to enjoy, including four Batmobiles from throughout the ages and the Ghostbusters favourite Ecto-1 ahead of the new movie release ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ on Friday 22nd March.
As it’s Easter Sunday, the Park will also be hosting an Easter Trail around the premises for families to complete to win a tasty treat. They may even spot the Easter Bunny out and about!
Visitors to the Park can enjoy a plethora of entertainment and restaurant options on the day, with a selection of restaurants also providing some samples of their delicious menu options.
Festival Leisure Park will be fundraising for local charity Reach on the day, who pride themselves on rehabilitation programmes using trained horses to give treatment strategy for adults and children suffering with physical, mental, social and/or learning disabilities. The charity will be joined by two super Shetlands on the day*, and visitors are encouraged to give generously where they can.
Essex Cosplayers will also be hosting a children’s cosplay competition from 1:30pm, so guests are invited to come along in costume for the chance to win some great prizes.
