Residents are invited to attend the first ever meeting of the Harlow Disability Action Panel. The meeting will take place on Thursday 8 February from 6pm to 7.30pm in the Council Chamber in Harlow Civic Centre (CM20 1WG).
The new panel set up by Harlow Council will be chaired by the Leader of the Council and will include councillors from all political parties and Harlow’s MP will be invited to attend.
The panel will give residents with disabilities, their families and carers, a voice to influence the decisions the council makes.
Through the leader of the council the panel will be able to make direct recommendations to the council’s Cabinet for implementation and approval of expenditure relating to the recommendations. The panel’s work will be non-political including its recommendations and activities.
Come along to the first meeting and help shape how the panel will work.
