Qualis Homes has been confirmed as one of the new official sponsors of Epping Youth Football Club’s girls’ teams.
The Epping-based housing developer has generously contributed towards the cost of the new kit which will be used for the next two seasons, between 2023 and 2025.
The new kit made its debut last month where it was worn by the U16 Scorpions who kicked off the 23/24 season with a convincing victory.
Simon Rutter, Managing Director at Qualis Commercial, said: “We are so proud to be supporting aspiring young female footballers in the district, further enhancing the growth of girls’ football in the county.
“Epping Youth Football Club is such an integral component of our community and has helped many thousands of young people fall in love with the beautiful game over the years.
“We are really looking forward to cheering the girls onto success over the next two seasons and hope they are as thrilled with their new kits as we are.”
Richard Cobb, Chairman of Epping Youth FC, added: “We are delighted that our girls football teams are supported by Qualis Homes. Having launched girls football with dedicated female coaches, we are pleased to have over 50 girls in our Academy from U5 upwards, enabling us to create teams playing in the leagues.
“This season, Epping will be represented by five girls teams covering 60+ players, alongside 23 boys youth teams and 3 adult teams. We look forward to an enjoyable season ahead.”
Epping Youth Football Club is supported and managed by a host of community volunteer committee members and team managers.
Qualis Homes is delivering hundreds of high-quality new homes across the Epping Forest District, with work already underway at Springwood Grove, Epping High Street, which is based on the site of the former Conder building.
The flagship development – the first units of which are set to complete in Spring 2024 – will feature 29 contemporary apartments across three buildings, including one, two and three-bedroom homes, as well as 16 new townhouses.
