In 2011, Inventor Tom Pellereau beat the odds to become the first contestant to win a business investment from Lord Sugar, rather than a job after winning primetime BBC show ‘The Apprentice.’
Following this win, a mix of hard work and ingenuity has made Tom one of the most successful candidates in the show’s history.
His beauty brand Stylideas has flourished with market-leading products flying off the shelves, and one in particular has become a phenomenon.
Since launching into beauty products with STYLIDEAS, in 2016 Tom invented the award-winning STYLPRO Makeup Brush Cleaner and Dryer, which has now sold over 2 million units worldwide. The product and brand have become firm favourites amongst beauty editors, influencers and tastemakers alike.
Tom has also had massive success with his first products – curved nail files – and more recently a £54.99 beauty fridge that is selling at a rate of 250 units a week.
Extending the range in the past 2 years significantly, has meant that the range is growing at pace and with amazing partners in UK and EU retail space, sales are on an upward trajectory.
Lord Sugar is still firmly involved in the business and now Tom and his team are launching TEN new innovative products.
This includes the brand’s first foray into anti-wrinkle and anti-ageing devices, as well as innovative mirrors and sustainable makeup products, allowing consumers to enjoy salon-quality treatments in the space of their own home.
Tom Pellereau says: “I love to solve problems and make life easier for people. At STYLPRO our mission is to offer the latest professional grade beauty innovations at the lowest possible prices. We want everyone to enjoy the benefits of the latest technologies, no matter their budget. With Lord Sugar’s guidance and incredible hard work from my team, we’re excited to launch these ten new beauty innovations, all invented with love, just in time for Christmas.”
Lord Sugar comments: “Excited that Tom and I are launching 10 new STYLPRO beauty innovations, in the heart of London. Adding to our already existing successful range.”
