LABOUR is currently 18 percent ahead of the Conservatives, a new poll indicates today.
The People Polling poll for GB News also reveals Reform has edged ahead of the Liberal Democrats.
People Polling asked 1,900 Brits how’d they vote in the next General Election.
They found voting intentions to be:
Labour – 41%
Conservative – 23%
Reform – 10%
Liberal Democrat – 9%
Greens – 9%
Commenting, Matthew Goodwin, professor of politics at the University of Kent, said: “What these results show is the continued dominance of the Labour Party in the national polls and the continued weakness of the Tory brand. Rishi Sunak is still only recruiting around six in ten of the people who voted for Boris Johnson and the Conservatives in 2019, while on these numbers Labour is still cruising toward a majority government next year.”
On the surge of Reform he added: “At the same time, the fact Reform is on 10% points to widespread disillusionment among conservative voters and the fact this party is building a more significant presence in British politics”.
*The poll was conducted by PeoplePolling for GB News and surveyed 1,900 adults in Britain on 13 September.
