On Saturday 30th September local residents across Braintree are all invited to ‘Get Sportaneous’ and take advantage of an exciting day of free activities at Fusion’s four leisure centres in the area: Braintree Sport & Health, Braintree Swimming and Fitness, Halstead Leisure Centre and Witham Leisure Centre.
The excitement-packed Big Event day across the four centres, will give residents in Braintree the opportunity to try something new, explore the fantastic facilities, take part in taster sessions, or test their sporty skills with a host of Imaginative and fun challenges and great prizes on offer. The whole day is designed for everyone of all abilities to just dive in, have a go and best of all – have fun!
Headlining the line-up of exciting events at Braintree Sport & Health, will be the chance to try out your circus skills at the Phina Dance and Circus. This fantastic circus troupe are offering free entertainment and ‘have a go’ sessions for all anyone who’s wondered what it would be like to gracefully twist around aerial silks and hoops, fly on a trapeze or learn how to tumble and perform aerobatics. Phina Dance and Circus are inviting all Braintree residents to their spine-tingling grand opening show on Friday 29th September and will also be at Braintree Sport & Health’s Big Event on 30th September, with 30-minute performances scheduled at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. The Big Event offers something for everyone across all four Fusion centres, with a whole host of different activities. These include: – free classes, swim and gym sessions and soft play, and Spin and gym challenges. But there’s so much more! – cake Stalls, raffles, face painting, free coffees and pizza will also be on offer at some of the sites,
Each centre will also be raising money for their chosen charities – which include Essex Air Ambulance and Nacoa (support for children with alcohol dependent parents).
