Enjoy and day in the countryside and help those living with cancer.
On Sunday 10th September, Helen Rollason Cancer Charity will be organising a ramble and trail run in beautiful Essex countryside followed by a cream tea.
There are several rambles to choose from: 1 mile, 4 miles, 6 miles and 10 miles, or participants can do 6 or 10-mile trail run. The event starts at the Forgotten Gardens of Easton Lodge near the historic market town of Great Dunmow. All routes are well sign-posted and the longer routes have water-stops manned by volunteers. At the end, all participants will return to the gardens for a lovely cream tea with tea or coffee.
The gardens will be open exclusively for this event. They date from the Edwardian time and comprise a walled kitchen garden, an Italian garden, a Japanese garden and a wildflower meadow.
All tickets include the cream tea and entrance to the gardens. Places are limited and can be booked on the Helen Rollason website: Rural Ramble & Trail Run – Helen Rollason Cancer Charity
As well as enjoying the beautiful Essex countryside, all participants will be helping to raise funds to support local people living with cancer. For more information phone Helen Rollason Cancer Charity on 01245 380719.
