The iconic American hamburger brand Wendy’s, has today confirmed it’s opening its doors in Colchester on 18th July 2023.
The brand-new restaurant and Wendy’s first company-owned drive-thru in the UK
will be located at Northern Gateway,
off Junction 28 of the A12, as part of the highly anticipated opening of the £65m entertainment leisure park.
The new restaurant has created 60 new jobs – each with competitive salaries, employee benefits, and opportunities for growth.
Wendy’s fans can find the signature items they know and love from the States including the Baconator®, Dave’s Double™ (named after our Founder!), the Spicy Chicken Sandwich,
and of course, the classic Frosty® dessert (in chocolate AND vanilla), perfect for these hot summer days!
Alongside those favourites, there is an exclusive range of items tailored to Brits, such as our Avocado Chicken Club, Curry Bean Burger, and the brand-new, limited
time offering, Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sandwich, for those looking to spice things up.
Since coming back to the UK in 2021, Wendy’s focus has always been on quality since day one. Wendy’s does not cut corners, a commitment illustrated by the brand’s iconic
square hamburgers. All menu items are made to order and customisable, and ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible. Wendy’s delicious salads are prepared fresh daily, and sandwiches are served hot off the grill.
