Stephen Metcalfe, MP for South Basildon & East Thurrock, paid a visit to Horndon School May Fayre on Saturday – a annual event organised by the Friends of Horndon School.
The Friends of Horndon School held their May Fayre at the weekend and the theme was the ‘Best of British’. There was Union Jack bunting, a DJ deck, a barbecue, Punch and Judy, Irish Dancing, inflatables, facepainting and, of course, raffles. Mr Metcalfe attended with Sue Little, Councillor for Orsett Ward, and spoke at the opening of the fete.
Stephen Metcalfe said: “Many thanks to the Friends of Horndon School for inviting me to their annual fete. It was a fantastic event and it is great to see how popular it has become over the years.”
