BARONESS Claire Fox has spoken of her disgust after it emerged that a convicted paedophile has decided to transition from male to female and change his name to match hers.
She told GB News: “This is a real story of our time and I’m very upset about it. But can you imagine what it’s like for his daughter who was the victim of his abuse?
“So, you’ve got this character Clive Bundy, who abused his daughter from the age of eight for nine years, and eventually got put in prison with a 15-year sentence in 2016 and is due to be let out on parole only after serving seven years.
“Two years ago, he decided to transition or said he had gender dysphoria, and of course the prison went out of their way to supply him, and I stress him, Clive, with make up and a dress and so on.
“And the thing that’s really horrible about all this is that his daughter Ceri-Lee Galvin would not have known any of this had not the victim liaison officer told her eventually.”
In a discussion with Patrick Christys, she continued: “Clive Bundy is about to get out of prison and live under the name of Claire Fox.
“His own daughter who he abused and anyone else would therefore not know that Clive Bundy was out and about, for people who are not related or don’t know this story, which is why we need to tell this story.
“The thing is that now on his driving licence and on his birthday it will say Claire Fox. And obviously this is a joke, but it’s an attempt at disguising his heinous crimes.
“The Ministry of Justice said, ‘oh, what can we do, we can’t mis-gender or go against the wishes of this transgender woman.”
She added: “His daughter actually believes that he’s chosen my name as a flagrant act of entering into trans activism as a kind of two fingers trolling to those of us who are gender critical and have tried to draw attention to the lunacy that’s going on in relation to people refusing in official positions, like the Home Office, refusing to acknowledge this man is Clive Bundy.
“It’s one thing changing your name, changing your gender just as simply as that is not on.”
