Wellness Retreat
Looking to shake off the winter blues? On Sunday 26th March, Down Hall will be hosting its inaugural wellness retreat in partnership with local yoga instructor, Camilla Sheeley. Set to be a memorable day of blissful pampering, arrive to the hotel at 10am for a morning coffee, detox juice and protein ball, before taking part in a yoga and meditation session in the Prior Room and a guided woodland walk around the grounds. After working up an appetite, enjoy a delicious light lunch of seasonal British produce in the hotel’s restaurant, Garden Room, before an enlightening crystal and manifestation workshop, relaxation time in the Eden Spa and a 25-minute spa treatment. Round off the afternoon with a quintessentially British afternoon tea and champagne tasting in the lounge.

Restful Yoga Stay
Salute the sun, stretch to the treetops and relax with Down Hall’s overnight yoga package. Available to book every Friday throughout March and April, the new yoga package will include a delicious three-course dinner in the hotel’s restaurant Garden Room before a restful night’s sleep in one of the Classic Rooms. Wake up and explore the picturesque grounds before fuelling your body with a healthy breakfast in preparation for the 60-minute yoga session run by the hotel’s expert instructor, Camilla Sheeley. Cheese and Wine Tasting
On Friday 14th April, join Down Hall for an intimate evening of cheese and wine hosted by local wine expert, Simon Jarvis. Taking place in the Lyndhurst Suite guests will first gain valuable insight into the world of food and wine pairings before tasting six delicious cheeses from across the UK, including Bath Soft, Cave-aged Cheddar, Beauvale Blue, Waterloo Brie, Cerney Ash Goats Cheese and Celtic Promise. Each cheese will be accompanied by a different wine that has been carefully selected by Jarvis to complement their flavours and textures. Paradise Wildlife Park
Fancy spending the afternoon with exotic beasts and farmyard favourites this Easter? Down Hall has teamed up with leading local attraction Paradise Wildlife Park for a fantastic overnight package. Located just 40 minutes from the hotel, families can enjoy facetime with animals such as penguins, tigers and zebras, before stepping back in time to the World of Dinosaurs where 30 life-size, moving and roaring dinosaurs await! Once you’ve finished exploring, venture to Down Hall where kids can race through the ‘Trim Trail’ woodland gym, before grabbing racquets for a fun game of tennis on the hard or Padel tennis courts. Other family-friendly facilities include badminton, giant games and five-a-side football! After a restful night’s sleep in one of Down Hall’s luxurious rooms, visit the Garden Room restaurant where a hearty breakfast will set the family up for the day ahead!
