Westgate Healthcare are proud to be shortlisted as a Finalist at the prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2023 in the category Best Regeneration Project for Chestnut Manor Care Home, based in Wanstead, London.
Chestnut Manor Care Home is a well-designed new care facility combining urban living and city life with an exceptional level of comfort, luxury and homeliness for all its residents, incorporating the Westgate family values of creating a community and encouraging individuality.
Chestnut Manor is very much a regeneration project, involving the partial knock down of a previous care home, retention and regeneration of certain parts and the construction of a modern 60 bedded facility.
We are very proud to have retained natural local beauty and have developed a facility in keeping with local design and heritage, whilst delivering a beautiful and comfortable home to live in.
As well as meticulous design and build, Chestnut Manor Care Home has incorporated the use of technology on both a micro and macro scale to facilitate this.
