Award winning all women’s choir, The Woodford Singers, will be joined by Brook Brass for a ‘Night Of Song and Brass’ concert on Saturday 12th November at 7.30pm at St. Gabriel’s Church in Wanstead.
Pieces will include a range of different musical styles, including music by Purcell and Ola Gjeilo, a musical theatre medley from Fiddler On The Roof (with a violin accompaniment from Nathan Tan) and a jazz section from the Woodford Singers. Brook Brass will be performing a piece created around the words of Pepys, plus a Beatles set. James McLaren will narrate the Pepys piece and also sing in the Fiddler On The Roof medley. Both groups will join forces for a rousing finale.
The concert will take place on Saturday 12th November 2022 at 7.30pm at St. Gabriel’s Church, London E12 5HH.
Tickets cost £12 for adults and £10 for children and are available via ticketsource. An additional booking fee will be payable if booking via ticketsource. Tickets are also available on the door.
