To mark the launch of Circular, a revolutionary new subscription service, Nokia phones bring you the Museum of Unnatural History, a future-gazing museum which takes a unique look at the problem of e-waste.
Switching bones with phones, the museum is set in the future and showcases e-waste as artefacts in the same way you would expect to see relics excavated from historical sites today.
Opening on the 9th of November for one day only, each artefact is inspired by the latest data on e-waste consumption to drive awareness of the amount of e-waste going to landfill.
Located in Dray Walk Gallery, in the heart of Shoreditch – a bustling area full of history – the exhibition features futuristic fossils and unusual exhibits carefully crafted from e-waste.
And if you’re wondering what to do with that unwanted mobile phone that’s been sitting in a drawer for some time, you can drop it in a recycling collection box at the museum.
For more information about Circular please click here. Circular rewards people the longer they keep their phone and takes full responsibility for the whole lifecycle of the device, so it doesn’t end up in landfill.
