For 27 years, Soho House has been a home away from home for many creatives across different industries. Tonight, for the first time, Soho House hosted the Soho House Awards, to recognise this long heritage and honour several established and emerging winners from ten categories across film, music, art, changemaker and trailblazer. The event saw an all-star attendance from its leading winners and a slew of famous guests.
Hosted by actor, writer and director, Stanley Tucci, the ceremony took place at 180 House, London, during which all winners were presented with their ‘Golden Picante’ awards. With ten categories – from music and art, to acting and design, creator, change maker and trailblazer – there were two award winners per category, celebrating one established name and one breakthrough star, both selected for their defining accomplishments and success in the past twelve months.
Award winners included John Boyega (Actor); Anson Boon (Breakthrough Actor); Ellie Bamber (Actress); Yasmin Finney (Breakthrough Actress); Charlotte Tilbury (Entrepreneur); Emmanuel Eribo (Breakthrough Entrepreneur); Paapa Essiedu (Trailblazer); Bernardine Evaristo (Writer); Moses McKenzie (Breakthrough Writer); Michael Kiwanuka (Musician); Self Esteem (Breakthrough Musician); Elmgreen & Dragset (Artist); Miranda Forrester (Breakthrough Artist); Harris Reed (Fashion Designer); Bianca Saunders (Breakthrough Fashion Designer); Samuel Ross (Changemaker); Jack Harries (Breakthrough Changemaker); Evan Mock (Creator); George Jaques (Breakthrough Creator).
‘Golden Picante’ awards were presented to the winners by British Diver, Tom Daley; BBC Radio 1 Presenter, Greg James; Actress and Producer, Lena Waithe; Actor, Kit Connor; Actress, Gugu Mbatha-Raw; Screenwriter and Actress, Michaela Coel; Film Writer, Abraham Adeyemi; Film Director, Raza Tariq; Actress, Marisa Abela and Actor, Hero Fiennes Tiffin.
The 59% Gen Now Award was the final award of the ceremony, which recognised new British talent in film and was awarded to Adjani Salmon and presented by Academy Award winner, Daniel Kaluuya. The award came about through the partnership with Kaluuya and his company, 59% Productions. Please see below for a full-list of award recipients and presenters.
Presenters, award winners and guests arrived in style at 180 House via a sleek convoy of cars provided by award sponsor, Porsche including the electric Porsche Taycans. During the evening, they enjoyed a line-up of bespoke Patrón Tequila cocktails including the infamous Picante with a twist; the ‘Golden Picante’ created especially for the awards in honour of the group’s signature serve.
As guests sipped on the curated cocktail menu, as mixed with Patrón Reposado and Patrón Ańejo, leading faces from the world of culture and entertainment dined on classic Soho House bites including mini Dirty Burgers, shishito peppers and the ultimate comfort food; sausage roll canapes.
The special evening featured lively musical performances from Soho House Award winners including Self Esteem opening the ceremony as well as Michael Kiwanuka.

The awards were broadcast across Soho House’s digital platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, with winners announced throughout the night.
