The Flitch of Bacon in Little Dunmow launch new gourmet pizzas

Guests visiting The Flitch of Bacon in Little Dunmow this summer are in for a treat, as former Gordon Ramsay restaurant Head Chef Paul Croasdale has curated a delicious Market Square Pizza menu, with pizzas carefully crafted and freshly fired in his very own BIG Green Egg* TM.

The 40-seater south-west facing Market Square courtyard offers guests a secluded dining spot in warm weather, where they can also enjoy foraged craft lager courtesy of Yonder Brewing – on tap from a vintage Citroën H Van – or a glass of Miraval Provence Rose, with its delicate aromas of white fruit, just-picked strawberries, and spring flowers.

Chef Patron and avid forager Paul said, “Our pizzas offer everything you would expect from The Flitch of Bacon, including delicious and unusual flavour combinations.

“We strive to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible and grow herbs, wildflowers, and vegetables in the Market Square which are lovingly tended to by our team, who pick what we need before each service.”

The Market Square is the ideal location for a refreshing afternoon aperitif or a long, lazy lunch or dinner with friends and is opening for handmade pizzas from 12 June, Thursdays to Saturdays, from 16:00 – 20:00.
