An Essex women and children’s charity has received a £1,000 donation from the team at Amazon in Tilbury.
Changing Pathways is a charity providing free and confidential support and advocacy to individuals subjected to domestic abuse and stalking in South and South West Essex.
The donation from Amazon will be put towards improving facilities in the charity’s refuges.
The team from Amazon in Tilbury has been supporting Changing Pathways since 2020.
Carlos Guijarro Benito, general manager at Amazon in Tilbury, said: “Thank you to Changing Pathways for continuing to provide care to vulnerable individuals in our society. This donation marks our recognition of all the great things you do.”
Sarah, from Changing Pathways added: “Amazon’s donation will allow us to continue to provide support for the women and children, and for that we are very grateful. Thank you, Carlos and team.”
The donation to Changing Pathways was made as part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities around its operating locations across the UK.
