After a one year break due to the Pandemic, Haslers are organising a cracker of a brain teasing event on 29th June 2022 with its seventh annual Haslers Foundation Charity Quiz.
Due to be held at the Metropolitan Police Club in Chigwell, the event will raise money for the Haslers Foundation – the in-house charity of Loughton-based Haslers Chartered Accountants.
This latest event, which will include a dinner and a raffle, follows on from the Foundation’s last successful quiz in March 2020, which raised over £5,000.
The event is being supported by local businesses; SRM Wealth Management, Aquabridge Law, Hightower Wealth Management, Weston Homes, Hamlet Commercial Ltd, Higgins Group & Barclays Bank who are each sponsoring a round of the quiz to show their support.
To date, Haslers’ charity has raised more than £190,000 for local community groups and causes and has high hopes of adding even more to its grand total at this upcoming event, which starts at 6.30pm.
Jon O’Shea, Chairman of Haslers Chartered Accountants and its Foundation, said: “Every year our charity quiz gets bigger and bigger, so we are hoping that this year we can raise a fantastic amount for local causes.
“Our Foundation quiz relies on the support of the local community and businesses and we are overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses in donating raffle prizes; Embryonex, 8 Rocks Wine Bar, The Grand Trunk Road Restaurant and Weston Homes.”
