The charity Crimestoppers is today offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the murder of Terry Leeks in Basildon.
Terry Leeks, who was 46-years-old, was fatally injured in Northlands Park at around 1.35am on Sunday 11 July this year. He was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
***To support Essex Police with their investigation, independent charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information they exclusively receive – either online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling freephone 0800 555 111 – that leads to the arrest & conviction of those linked to this brutal attack and murder***
Phil Breckon, Eastern Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “Terry was described by his parents as “kind-hearted” and as someone `who would do anything for anyone’. We believe that people in the Basildon area have important information that can help explain what happened to him and who is responsible. His family and friends deserve answers and justice for his murder and this is why Crimestoppers is offering this reward and has launched this appeal.
“If you have any information on Terry’s murder, then please contact our charity 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through our non-traceable anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

***Information passed directly to police will not qualify for any rewards. Only information passed to Crimestoppers using the untraceable anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or via the 0800 555 111 freephone number will qualify***
